Terms of use for this appliance repair site

Effective

The pages here are general information, not a quote

These terms apply to anyone using this website, published by Next Century Gadgetry LLC of Farmington, New Mexico. They are effective October 16, 2026. By reading the site, you agree to them.

Everything on these pages, including repair descriptions, symptom lists, maintenance tips and Appliance Care articles, is general information about appliances and the conditions in this region. It is not a diagnosis of your appliance and not a quote for your repair. Every unit is different, and only a tech looking at your model in person can say what failed and what it will take to fix.

Price ranges are typical figures, not set prices

Where the site shows dollar amounts, such as $127-$428 for common household repairs, those are typical ranges for this area. They give you a sense of scale before you call. Your actual price depends on the brand and model, the part that failed, whether the part is in stock or has to be ordered, how hard the appliance is to reach and how far we travel.

Ranges on the site can change as parts costs move. The price that counts is the one our tech gives you after diagnosis and before any work starts.

Visits and repair prices are settled on the phone and in person

Nothing on this website books an appointment or locks in a price. Visits are arranged when you call us and a person confirms the day and time with you. Repair prices are confirmed by our tech at your home or business after the appliance has been checked, and no repair begins until you approve it.

If plans change on your end, call us and we'll move the visit. If a part has to be ordered, we'll confirm the return visit by phone when it arrives.

Safety comes first if you smell gas or see sparks

The tips on this site are for safe homeowner tasks only. Don't open gas lines, adjust gas valves or regulators, or work inside an appliance that is still plugged in. If you smell gas, walk out of the building without touching light switches, and from a safe distance phone the gas utility or 911. Contact us about the appliance only after the gas company has made the home safe.

If an appliance sparks, smokes or trips its breaker again and again, unplug it or switch off its breaker and leave it off until it has been checked.

Links that lead away from this website

Some pages may link to outside websites, such as a manufacturer's page about a recall or a utility's safety page. We include them because they may help, but we don't run those sites and aren't responsible for what they say, how current they are or how they handle your information. Their own terms and privacy policies apply once you leave this site.

When these terms change

We may update these terms as the site or our services change. When we do, the new version goes on this page with a new effective date, and it applies from that date on. If you have a question about anything here, call us; someone answers at all hours.

How calls are handled

Our phones are answered 24/7. On full-schedule days, when every one of our technicians is already on a repair, we may forward your call to another trusted appliance repair company near you so a broken appliance is not left waiting. Any work that company does is arranged and billed by that company.
